This is the ultimate goal of everything. The pinnacle of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs: Self-actualization and transcendence. Star Trek gives me hope for the future of humanity. And Patrick Stewart / Captain Picard is absolutely perfect in every way. These simple and elegant exchanges leave us with so much to think about. There are so many thoughtful gems like this throughout all of Star Trek that are so beautifully optimistic about our future. ❤️
